This is a very rare & unique effects unit. Very few were made & they don't often come up for sale. It's been in my home studio for over 30 years & works well. The only issue is that one of the switch caps for the delay times is missing, but the switch still works. There are some cosmetic blemishes on the casing, but nothing serious & from the front, when rackmounted, it looks fine.
At the heart of this unit are the legendary Reticon SAD1024 bucket brigade delay chips. Highly sought after for their distinct analogue character, these BBDs deliver the rich, warm, and unmistakable vintage depth that modern emulations simply cannot replicate. Can convert a mono signal to stereo ( the chorus is very nice ) & can do all sorts of effects, from subtle to completly insane! |
