There were probably quite a few people who embarked on self-build modular projects in the late 70s and early 80s, but not many (if any) as ambitious as this. Started by an engineer at a well-known UK audio company, it is very much hand-made and seemingly self-designed. It's clearly fallen into disuse and disrepair as the designer / maker suffered from repeated ill health, but it clearly has a lot of potential.
To gauge its significance, we know one specific fact: when Bob Moog came over to England to open the synth museum in 1996, he took the time and effort to travel hundreds of miles to visit two people in the country. One is writing this blurb, and the other was the designer of this modular.
Because of VEMIA changing hands, and our need to reduce warehouse space, this is at a very low start price - it has to be sold. Obviously sold completely as is.
Very difficult to pack, so it will need to be collected or hand-delivered. If that is impossible for you we can organise a custom pallet for 100GBP..
