Potentially great 'Leslie' type speaker from Elka. The amplification works well (sliders are noisy but get better with use), but the rotary elements (a bass rotating drum and treble speakers like on original Leslies) require a switch connected by a 7-pin socket to work.
Ideally in the days before the auction we'll at least be able to see if we can work out a simple way of connecting to this socket to check the rotary part. ****We found the service booklet for this which will be included - and our tech did work out the pinouts and get the speakers rotating. Sadly he didn't have time to check the reverb - plane to catch!****
I'd love to hear an X-705 through this.
The good thing compared with most Leslies is that this has pre-amps, so you can put any instrument into it via the two quarter-inch inputs. UK/Euro voltage - supply your own IEC lead.
Obviously not a light thing: if it has to be sent, we will need to palletise it (48GBP).
