 Model CS80
Description Yes, a superb CS-80 for a start price of 21 pounds with no reserve. This is one of the nicest examples you will ever find without paying 5000 pounds. Fully checked by Lucid Sound, this works perfectly in every respect, and is in their opinion the richest-sounding and most perfectly-behaved example of the CS series they have had their hands on. Tuning is excellent, the presets sound exceptionally good, and absolutely everything is exactly as it should be, including the marvellous polyphonic aftertouch. Comes with a copy user manual. It is in very very nice cosmetic condition. The tolex isn't perfect, but isn't at all bad; the ventilation grills (always a telltale sign of hard usage) are in very good condition; and the panel is lovely, with all controls virtually as new. The keyboard is lovely, and a delight to play. The one minor flaw is that at some stage a previous owner added an extra control to the extreme right of the panel - we've drawn a blue arrow pointing to it in the composite picture. It is not connected internally, and could be removed and the slot filled by anyone who knows what they are doing. It has its lid, and the original chrome stand, which unlike the synth itself has been badly stored, is quite corroded, and needs re-chroming to match the beauty of the synth. It has a replacement bolt, but is perfectly functional. This is a magnificent instrument.
