| Description |
Old and rare preamplifier / octave divider effects unit for Brass instruments. Provides preamplification, Bright switch, and 'Trombone' and 'Tuba' suboctave switches. 1/8-inch mini jack instrument input, 1/4-inch phone jack output. Uses a 9V battery.
This unit was just checked out and tweaked by Nyle Steiner, famed inventor of the Electronic Valve Instrument. He mentioned that this old piece had originally inspired some of his designs for Steiner-Parker.
Some minor oxidation on the case and belt clip, but works perfectly and in good condition. Includes Nyle's hand-written notes on the voltage parameters he set on the unit, plus schematics.
