| Description |
Beautiful sounding vintage Oberheim Four Voice with original case lid and power cord.
This is plug and play ready and runs on 220-240V.
A couple of light modifications by the original owner have been carefully removed.
Four switches on the top frame, and one above the key assigner have been left in place.
These can easily be taken out for full restoration.
The case has been retolexed by a pro guitar builder to the exact factory Tolex seam pattern, refitting the original nickel hardware and Oberheim sticker.
As is common for these synths the pots can become a bit scratchy over time.
This gets better with use but at some point should best be cleaned by a tech.
The Programmer is truly great and much underestimated.
Used creatively it adds potent features to each SEM for a total of four envelopes two LFOs, a global VCF modifier and two 8 bit quantized pitch modifiers per SEM.
All of the Programmer's parameters can either be stored & edited globally or individually for each SEM.
The programs can be switched fast and without any delay, which is great for live performance.
This is not only the first but also one of the best sounding poly synths ever built.
I am only letting it go because I also have it’s bigger brother.
