| Description |
Rare and originally (1980) super-expensive time compressor. Basically it acted as a speed controller for a tape deck while at the same time pitch-shifting to keep the original pitch. So you could get more radio ads into the same amount of time. (Nowadays you seem to just get people who can speak very very fast.) Missing some memory chips, three knobs and one front panel bolt. The heatsink has one fin end a bit bent and some paint scrapes, but all cosmetic aspects of the whole unit are otherwise very good. We didn't fire it up, assuming it will be more useful as a source of rare spares. Unusually, UK voltage, which makes it even rarer. Serial number 1069. |
