£50 start bid to beat! Waldorf's classic flagship, expanded fully to 32 voices. With a newly-installed HxC floppy emulator, with two dedicated USB sticks for safety. Cosmetically when you look closely it is good, especially from a playing position, but nowhere near mint (the usual paint chips on the back edge, the middle control panel overlay feels like it is slightly coming adrift at the top, etc.). Please check the photos. *** We took the photos before the HxC USB stick was here, so please check where we've included a photo of the actual display once the synth has booted up. The display is well use-able! *** It seems in beautiful working order except that if you really ultra-test it, a few of the 32 filter cut-off points are not accurately calibrated - possibly 6 or 7. If a piece of music demands it, those voices can be easily disabled from the front panel. So, nearly perfect - very much par for the course for these incredible but flawed masterpieces, and probably much better than nearly all the examples in the world. Packing 30GBP. As this is a huge and heavy instrument, we think it is safer for you to provide your own (Euro / UK voltage) mains lead, so that we don't have to increase the size of the custom carton. |
