Synthi AKS |
Description |
This is an incredible example of the classic Synthi AKS - not only is it almost mint inside, but it has also been given a thorough check by EMS experts Lucid Sound. The total bill for this was about 40GBP, so that tells you what excellent working order it was in to start with.
This AKS originally belonged to Pete Namlook, and is Rehberg badged, with their very neat mod for voltage control of oscillator shape. This is the only Rehberg mod - everything else is a stock British EMS machine. It needs a simple 2mm - to - EMS pin lead.
The outer case is the only bit that looks its age - some scuffs, one bit of chinagraph writing, and one edge is a little distorted - see photo. Someone else would probably back-to-black the case and call the whole thing mint. It of course comes with the eight-pin connector, and a mini-Bulgin mains lead with UK plug - easily changed for your country's plug if needed. Voltage is switchable so this machine can be used worldwide.
Packing 10GBP.
