Studiofex system, needs servicing
This rare Studiomaster Studiofex modular effects rack has a lot of potential but hasn't been used for ten years or more, and needs servicing.
The Fader/Panner seems not to pan without some manual help - maybe it needs an input to the key input. The stereo compressor sounds well-designed but has a noisy input pot. The Parametric EQs certainly need pot cleaning, the De-Esser seems to respond to signal, but wasn't tested with a sibilant vocal sound, and the Stereo Dynamic Noise Filter needs a pot cleaned, but seems to do exactly what it should do, in a very cleverly designed and unobtrusive way.
So if you can put up with the rusty case, and can do some simple servicing, you will have a very collectable and - more important - very useful modular effects rack.
