| Description |
1 PAIR of SIEMENS 'W 295 b' EQ modules - a true vintage classic!
Sought-after 3band EQ developed in the late 60s. Wonderful sounding
- adds a sweet bonus to everything you run through, lead instrument
or vocal, solo tracks or groups (drum, etc.) or even the full mix.
Qualitywise up to mastering grade: Class A circuit topology, first
class components used throughout like ELMA precision step switches
and finest transformers made by Haufe. Soundwise offering a super
nice, shining top-end and powerful low-end from shelving filters.
Mid-band is a semi parametric filter, built around a passive network
with coils/inductors (so called LCR topology as praised on almost
any classic EQ from the tube Pultec' days on). CONDITION: the 2x
EQ modules are in original condition, tested and working fine. Both
units are of the exact same model revision (see pix of the stickers
identifying the revision ID). The cosmetic condition is 8.5-9/10.
PLEASE NOTE: The 2x mating connectors are NOT included in the
auction. Since these are an absolute pain to find, I offer the Tuchel
13-pin connectors upon request after the auction and for a fixed
price of 20 UKP/pair additionally to the auction result. So it's your
choice whether you simply connect the EQs hard-wired to the back
or, if you like to get a connector and don't mind the extra costs.
ALSO IMPORTANT: these EQs need an external power supply with
24 Volt DC which is readily available in various forms from most
electronic part suppliers I can help here, if in doubt. Upon request,
I can also help you with plug & play ready, preconfigured XLRs
leads (at additional cost). A photocopy of the schematics and tech'
